Create Systems that Work & Be More Productive
You might be thinking, "Systems? What the heck is Carmen talking about? I'm not interested in systems." But here's the thing, over the last week I have been working with my clients to create systems in their homes and I’ve gained some popularity because of it!
Many of us women fall into the right brain category so the idea of systems can be a real turn off. However, if you consider the fact that you are already using systems it's much easier to wrap your head around the idea. You might be thinking, "But I don't use systems!" The truth is, from the time you get up in the morning until the time you go to bed, there are systems at work whether you are aware of them or not.
For example, every morning when you wake up you automatically revert to a system in order to prepare for the day. The same is true when it comes to house cleaning, cooking, working or taking the kids to their activities. For another example, on Monday nights I take my son to karate and so there is a system that goes on in our home every Monday that kicks in around 4pm until about 7:30pm.
The key is to ask yourself, "What's working in my life and what isn't?" …
