    1. acknowledge the conflict exists;
    2. communicate effectively about the conflict, and
    3. take personal responsibility for the conflict

    Conflict resolution skill #4 is: resolving to make conflict resolution a priority.

    Think about this for a moment. We all know people who seem to thrive on conflict; this is sad but true. It seems as if for every person who avoids conflict at all cost there is a person who never misses an opportunity to create it.
