Our Mission

Entrepreneurial Woman Magazine is an online magazine for, and about, women who are running their own businesses. It’s also for women who want to start a business and would like more information on how to go about it. Of course men are more than welcome to join the community.

EWM was started by Cathy Watters and Chris Meier.

Cathy is a journalist with over 20 years experience as a newspaper reporter, freelancer, and copy editor. Her work has appeared in over 40 magazines and newspapers including Canadian Living, Business in Vancouver, Small Business Opportunities Magazine, Retail Connections, The Thompson Citizen and The Halifax-Herald.

Chris Meier is a professional photographer, web designer, and graphic artist with over 12 years experience in the industry. He is founder and editor of Photography Showcase Magazine, an online publication that highlights the work of emerging photographers. His own portfolio can be found at www.chrismeier.ca.
