Offering Peace of Mind

Over the past couple of months we have delved into the things that a Virtual Assistant can do for you and your business. We have also talked about what to look for and how to go about hiring a VA. This month I would like to share another piece of information with you, that I think garners more importance that most people give merit to.
When I am working with my clients, I find that I do a variety of things to help them get their businesses in order. Many times I will be contracted to facilitate and manage one part of their business, using the skills and training I have from my past work experiences and on-going training. What I have noticed to be a regular occurrence, as our relationships evolves, is that our weekly strategy discussions have turned into more of a brainstorming session, which has resulted in some incredible results, and business potential that wasn’t there when we started.
Many of my clients say that when they speak with me, or for that matter, when they know that I have their task list under control, that they can breathe easier….that the possibilities for their business expand, and they have “peace of mind” knowing that I am in their corner, keeping them accountable, and offering cutting edge solutions, or in some cases just general organization.
What does that “peace of mind” do for small and medium-sized businesses and why is it important?
Well, when your “to do” list no longer feels like a huge mountain that you aren’t equipped to climb, you can spend more time on the value you can offer your current and potential clients; you can explore new opportunities that until now have eluded you; and you can feel confident that you have someone on your side, who is every bit as driven to help you succeed as you are.
A successful business requires teamwork. In addition to having a VA on your team, you may want to consider adding a business coach, a publicist, and joining (or creating) a ‘mastermind group’ of business people who meet regularly to exchange ideas and brainstorm ways to solve problems.

Shauna, that’s awesome that you took the leap and hired a virtual assistant. While many people find that letting go of all the things they used to do drives them crazy, the ones that take the leap, reap the benefits!
Congratulations!
Recently started to use a great VA and it is amazing what she has done for my business. It is honestly an essential part of every business… my VA actually loves to do the work I hate !
